Job summary

Rullion Ltd is seeking a CAD Technician for a permanent, on-site role in Swindon. You will create and amend 2D/3D drawings, support the project team, and manage filing and retrieval of drawings in line with project standards.

The candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, knowledge of construction/infrastructure, and familiarity with PAS1192-2:2013 processes. Bentley systems knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction activities and infrastructure projects.
• Applied knowledge of PAS1192-2:2013 and its processes.
• Identify, interpret and apply required CAD standards.
• Project delivery experience using AutoCAD 2D/3D CAD applications.

Responsibilities

• Creating files 2D/3D and ensuring the appropriate file attributes are captured correctly.
• Producing and/or amending information on drawings in accordance with the projects.
• Taking verbal direction and implementing into sketches and calculations to produce the final work.
• Drawing maps, diagrams or plans for construction projects and structures.
• Work with architects, engineers, building services and other construction workers in producing plans and drawings.

The Role: You will produce and/or amend information, graphical models and Layouts in accordance with the standard methods and procedures. You will support the Project team in delivering drawings as needed. Aswell as coordinating filing, storage and retrieval of drawings.

Experience/Qualifications

• Candidates Must have knowledge of construction activities and infrastructure projects
• Applied knowledge of PAS1192-2:2013 and its processes
• Candidates Must be able to Identify, interpret and apply required industry/ client/ internal CAD standards
• Candidates Must have Project delivery experience using the core 2D/3D CAD applications of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Bentley systems - Desirable
