Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Civil CAD Technician / Engineer to join its transport planning and infrastructure team in Godalming / Waterloo. The role targets engineers with 1-4 years' experience and offers a hybrid pattern across the Godalming and Waterloo offices.

You'll gain exposure from feasibility through to detailed design and construction, with mentoring and opportunities to progress towards ICE professional registration in a supportive, independently owned consultancy.

Qualifikationen

• 1-4 years experience in civil engineering or infrastructure design.
• Qualification in Civil Engineering: HNC/BEng/MEng or equivalent.
• Experience in highways, drainage, earthworks, level strategies or plot design.
• Good CAD skills and interest in developing technical design capabilities.
• Experience using Civil 3D and/or Site3D is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in progressing towards ICE Chartership.

Aufgaben

• Support design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Produce high-quality CAD drawings and technical design information.
• Work on highways, drainage, SuDS, earthworks and plot design.
• Develop level strategies and undertake cut-and-fill assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications and planning submissions.
• Coordinate infrastructure designs with wider project teams.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders as experience develops.
• Work with senior engineers, benefiting from mentoring and guidance.
