Job summary

Foster & May in Hertfordshire is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Apprentice Quantity Surveyor with an interest in civil projects. You will join a close-knit team and work under a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Director to deliver Civil Engineering groundworks for a key client.

You will handle pre and post contract tasks for drainage and civil works, with a path toward APC and professional progression.

Qualifications

• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or are undertaking one.
• Happy to specialise in civil projects.
• A minimum of 12 months Quantity Surveying experience.
• Ideally experience within a construction consultancy / chartered surveying practice.
• Hard working, professional, well spoken.
• Based in Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a Quantity Surveying team under an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and Director.
• Deliver Civil Engineering groundworks for a key client.
• Carry out pre and post contract tasks on drainage and civil works.
