Job description

Civil 3D Technician - Highways

As part of a design team, you will be responsible for developing scheme drawings from 2D to 3D for construction. You will provide support and advice to the team and help coordinate the delivery of projects for a growing number of TfL projects around London.

You will be involved in feasibility studies, preliminary design, and detailed design work, along with the production of 3D design information as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Production of Civil 3D CAD design based on 2D design drawings.
2. Production of 3D civil design plans such as contour plans, cut & fill plans, setting out information, cross-sections, etc.

Essential Requirements:

• AutoCAD
• Autodesk
• Highways experience
• Civil 3D
• Micro Drainage
• Navisworks
• Good IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to undertake design tasks with minimal supervision
• Willingness to interact with all team members
