Senior Infrastructure Technician - Civil

Are you a Civil D Technician with experience managing others? Buro Happold is looking to recruit a Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure Group in our London office.

Your next role:

• Be part of an exceptional team that embraces technically demanding projects and challenges
• Be at the forefront of changes in the industry such as reducing embodied carbon and modern methods of infrastructure design.

Key Duties:

• Managing Common Data Environments, BIM, SharePoint, Aconex, and the OneBH GeoStore.
• Compiling BIM Execution Plans.
• Supporting civil infrastructure design and masterplanning, from concept stage through to construction, using GIS tools. Work includes drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks, and utility coordination.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Your Skills and Experience:

• A technical background in infrastructure design, with expertise in highways, utilities, and earthworks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil D.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and standards such as PAS-.
• Ability to undertake design tasks independently, with good communication skills and team interaction.
• Experience managing Civil Infrastructure Technicians.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Membership or active pursuit of professional registration in a relevant institution.
