Qualifications

• Experience as a culinary professional with leadership experience.
• Ability to assist with menu development and cost control.
• Capable of enforcing HACCP and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resources are available for staff to perform tasks on time.
• Serve during service, help cook and clean the kitchen area.
• Monitor portions and waste to protect margins.
• Organise training and development for staff.
• Schedule staff according to business needs.
• Manage performance reviews for kitchen staff.
• Translate menu changes into accurate recipes and test-cook dishes.
• Procure supplies and ingredients for the kitchen; step in for Head Chef when needed.
• Ensure HACCP, fire safety and working conditions are followed.
