Job summary

Notemachine UK Ltd, a Brink’s group company, is hiring a Cash-In Transit Driver for Heathrow. You will securely transport cash between client sites, perform on-site maintenance, and replenish ATMs. The role requires 2+ years driving, a clean licence, and physical fitness, with full training provided.

The position offers full-time hours in a 4-on-7 shift pattern, with comprehensive training, uniform and benefits including life insurance and pension. Start around July/August 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence with no serious convictions.
• Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience.
• Physically capable of handling valuables and long shifts.
• SIA licence is a plus but not essential as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport cash, coins and valuables between customer sites.
• Perform first-line maintenance on customer sites and keep ATMs in good order.
• Replenish ATMs and cash machines professionally to ensure access to cash.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Follow security protocols to protect assets and people.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and location details.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure on-time schedules.

Cash-In Transit Driver (CIT Driver)

Due to our continuous growth at Notemachine, we are seeking skilled, trustworthy, and safety-conscious Cash-In Transit Drivers to join our team in Heathrow. This is a new exciting opportunity starting in around August. We are looking for experience in similar role or if you have experience in transport, logistics, field operations, or security – you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Shifts: 4 out of 7 days

Hours: 11 hours a day

Start Date: Around July/August 2026

What you will be doing

• Safely transport cash, coin, and other valuables between our customers’ sites, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly
• CIT Drivers will perform first line maintenance on customers’ sites to ensure the ATM is left looking, clean, tidy, professional and in working order
• Replenish ATMs and cash machines in a professional manner to ensure communities have access to cash
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, report any issues immediately, and ensure we are maintaining high standards of safety and reliability
• CIT Driver will follow strict security protocols and company procedures to protect yourself, your team and our clients’ assets
• CIT Drivers will liaise with dispatchers and clients to ensure schedules run on tie and expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate records of each transaction, including the amount of cash being transported and the location details
• Ability to handle any unforeseen situations in a professional manner promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the delivery schedules

What makes you a great fit

• Full clean driving licence
• Previous experience in security, field service, logistics, or similar (SIA is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided)
• Great attention to detail, reliable and comfortable working independently
• Physically fit and confident handling valuables safely and securely
• Adaptable, with a flexible attitude to start as early as 04:30am, weekends, and occasional holiday shift
• Must not have any live County Court Judgements (CCJs), Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs or known as in Scotland as Trust Deed), or live bankruptcy declarations
• 2-years commercial driving experience (required) – ideally driving a 3.5 tonne van or similar vehicle
