Job summary

RSM UK is seeking an experienced technology advisory professional to join our Technology M&A practice in Manchester. You will work closely with clients to understand their technology landscape, deliver due diligence, and shape post‑deal integration strategies across industries.

You'll lead and collaborate with teams on IT transformation programs, IT strategy, and governance, contributing to proposals and trusted advisory relationships while delivering practical, value‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive consulting/industry experience.
• 3+ of: technology due diligence, M&A and transactions; Post-Deal Integration; Carve-outs and Separations; CIO/CTO/IT Director experience; understanding IT/Technology functions.
• 4+ of: IT Strategy, IT Infrastructure, ERP/Finance systems, SDLC, Cyber Security & GDPR/DPA, IT Performance & Integrations, Org Structures & Change Management.
• Ideally: Cloud, AI, Blockchain, Digital Twins, IoT, ESG.

Responsibilities

• Establish trust and credibility with clients to build relationships.
• Contribute to client proposals and presentations as a trusted advisor.
• Identify, analyse and solve business challenges in collaboration with clients.
• Lead and manage team delivery while juggling multiple deadlines.
• Deliver value through transformation projects and practical solutions.
