Job summary

ODEON Cinemas Ltd in Bridgend, United Kingdom, is seeking a capable supervisor to support cinema operations and Costa Coffee leadership standards. You will lead Cinema Hosts, oversee guest experience across retail, ticketing and food services, and ensure safety and service quality during peak showings.

The role requires a people-first leadership style, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate Cinema Hosts throughout each shift.
• Oversee guest experience across all areas; retail, ticketing, ushering, and Costa Coffee operations.
• Ensure Costa Coffee quality and service meet brand standards.
• Deliver excellent service during busy showings and peak film releases.
• Maintain high standards across safety, cleanliness, compliance, and food handling.
• Run shift briefings and make on shift‑ operational decisions.
• Coach team members to build skills, confidence, and progression.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and guest satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support the Cinema Manager in delivering smooth, memorable cinema operations including:

• Leading and motivating Cinema Hosts throughout each shift
• Overseeing guest experience across all areas; retail, ticketing, ushering, and Costa Coffee operations
• Ensuring Costa Coffee quality and service meet brand standards
• Delivering excellent service during busy showings and peak film releases
• Maintaining high standards across safety, cleanliness, compliance, and food handling
• Running shift briefings and making on shift‑ operational decisions
• Coaching team members to build skills, confidence, and progression
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and guest satisfaction
