Job summary

ODEON Cinemas Ltd is seeking a Cinema Experience Manager to lead the team and bring the buzz to life across busy showings, Costa Coffee operations, and guest services.

You'll train, coach, and develop hosts while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. The role offers progression within a dynamic cinema environment and opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating Cinema Hosts throughout each shift.
• Overseeing guest experience across retail, ticketing, ushering, and Costa Coffee operations.
• Ensuring Costa Coffee quality and service meet brand standards.
• Delivering excellent service during busy showings and peak film releases.
• Maintaining high standards across safety, cleanliness, compliance, and food handling.
• Running shift briefings and making on-shift operational decisions.
• Coaching team members to build skills, confidence, and progression.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and guest satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support the Cinema Manager in delivering smooth, memorable cinema operations including:

• Leading and motivating Cinema Hosts throughout each shift
• Overseeing guest experience across all areas; retail, ticketing, ushering, and Costa Coffee operations
• Ensuring Costa Coffee quality and service meet brand standards
• Delivering excellent service during busy showings and peak film releases
• Maintaining high standards across safety, cleanliness, compliance, and food handling
• Running shift briefings and making on shift‑ operational decisions
• Coaching team members to build skills, confidence, and progression
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and guest satisfaction

What you’ll bring:

• Experience leading or supporting teams in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced environments
• A supportive, people-first leadership style‑
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High standards of safety, service, and operational delivery
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late nights
• A safe way to travel to and from late shifts
• Willingness to learn Costa Coffee operations and quality standards (full training provided)

Whether you’ve managed a team before or supported one informally, we’ll help you grow into the role. Join us on £13.71 per hour during training and unlock £15.55 per hour when you're fully trained and ready to go.
