Job summary

Dudley Children's Services is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker to join their Children in Need Team through Caritas Recruitment. The role involves delivering high-quality assessments and focused interventions to improve outcomes for children and families in a short-term CIN service, in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid working is available with 3 days on site, and regular supervision and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 3 years' cumulative permanent experience within an English Local Authority (including ASYE).
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Experience working within Children in Need services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and families within the CIN service.
• Complete timely and robust assessments.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support positive outcomes.
• Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals.
• Contribute to effective planning and decision-making for children and young people.
• Support families to access the right services at the right time.
