Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Children's Social Worker to work with Nottingham City Council, supporting Children in Care and young people with complex needs.

The role requires SWE registration and Right to Work in the UK. Salary is £37.50 per hour Umbrella or £27.91 PAYE, 37 hours per week, Inside IR35. Travel within the local authority area may be required. You will undertake statutory assessments, care planning and court reports to safeguard children.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Social Work England registration.
• Relevant post-qualified Children's Social Work experience.
• Experience working with Children in Care / CIC / CLA / LAC.
• Strong statutory assessment and report-writing skills.
• Experience of Care Planning and permanence work.
• Court work experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of exploitation and safeguarding risk.
• UASC and Age Assessment experience would be particularly beneficial.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel both within and outside the local authority area when required.

Aufgaben

• Work with CIC, CLA and LAC.
• Ensure children's voices are central to assessment and decision-making.
• Complete assessments and reports for panels.
• Prepare Court reports, including Schedule 21 Reports.
• Progress Care Plans and permanence plans.
• Complete parenting assessments and statements.
• Discharge of Care Orders as required.
• Support DOLs applications.
