The role requires 3+ years post-qualification experience and a strong background in frontline Children in Care work. Salary is £38.00 per hour. This locum position prioritises assessments, safeguarding planning and liaison with partners. Court experience is beneficial for certain cases.

Qualifications

• 3 years post-qualification experience within a Local Authority.
• Direct social work experience within a frontline Children in Care context.
• Court experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments for Children in Care under the Local Authority.
• Provide frontline social work services and case management.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with carers, schools and other stakeholders.

Join a Children in Care Team for a Local Authority based in Birmingham. The Social Worker is completing assessments for Children who are under the care of the Local Authority. This role is paying £38.00/hour, 2-3 days in the office and a 3-month initial contract. There is scope for the contract to be extended to 6 months.

This is a locum opportunity; the social worker is required to have 3 years post qualified experience within a direct local authority. It is essential to have previous social work experience within a frontline Children in Care/ frontline services. Court experience will be beneficial
