Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Children’s Locality Social Worker to join the Nottingham City Council Locality Team. The role is hybrid with 37 hours per week and pays £37.50 per hour.

You will assess needs, manage risk, and deliver interventions across CIN, CP, CIC, CLA, LAC, and Care Proceedings, working with families and professionals. SWE registration and Right to Work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience in Children's Services and statutory safeguarding.
• Ability to work in hybrid environment and manage sensitive cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and families within statutory timescales
• Complete statutory assessments and Child Protection investigations
• Undertake CIN/CP/CIC/LAC work and prepare care plans
• Prepare reports for Court Proceedings and conferences
• Collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard children
• Maintain accurate case records and participate in supervision
