Job summary

Career Connect seeks a CIAG Advisor and Employment Engagement Lead to support offenders in custody as they prepare for work on release. The role is split 0.5 FTE for CIAG advising and 0.5 FTE for employer engagement, based at HMP North Sea Camp in the East Midlands.

You will develop links with employers, organise events, and work with stakeholders to create opportunities across prison sites. Travel to other sites in the East Midlands may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience of working with employers to seek opportunities for people with barriers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Support offenders in custody as they prepare for work on release.
• Build links with employers and work with stakeholders to create employment events and activities.
• Network across prison sites to identify local and nationwide opportunities.
• Travel to other sites in the East Midlands as required.
