Job summary

Career Connect in the East Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic CIAG Adviser to work with offenders in custody, helping them prepare for work on release and to break the cycle of reoffending. You will be part of the East Midlands team as a Flexible Response member, covering sites across the region and travelling as needed.

Training will be provided; a Level 4+ IAG is preferred. Applicants should be confident, proactive and a strong communicator with attention to detail, ready to contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience helping offenders or vulnerable groups is desirable.
• Level 4 or higher in IAG is preferred.
• Good communication and a non-judgemental approach.
• Able to work 37.5 hours per week with flexitime.

Responsibilities

• Engage offenders in learning, training and employment opportunities for release.
• Cover staffing shortages across East Midlands sites as needed.
• Work in a custodial environment with strong quality and contract compliance.
• Use databases and maintain accurate records.
