Job summary

SJS Recruitment is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Somerset to lead CI initiatives and improve site reliability. The role is office-based with a focus on improvements, RCA, and data-driven strategies across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will own CI/Reliability projects, drive asset performance, and collaborate with maintenance and production to deliver measurable improvements while embedding a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Track record in FMCG, food, or drink manufacturing.
• Strong technical background and knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma.
• Comfortable being off the tools; office-based focused on improvements, CI and RCA.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to drive reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of critical CI/Reliability initiatives onsite to improve line performance and reduce downtime.
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational reliability across the site.
• Develop and drive data‑driven reliability strategies and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver measurable results.
