Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Wakefield Operations is seeking a Reliability Engineer to optimise asset performance on a major manufacturing site. You will join a fast-paced engineering team and lead reliability improvements across maintenance and capital initiatives.

The role focuses on data-driven decision making, lifecycle planning and collaboration with Production, Engineering and support functions to deliver sustained asset reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the distinction between maintenance activities and reliability engineering principles.
• Proven experience applying reliability tools, techniques and methodologies to improve equipment performance.
• Experience planning, coordinating and executing both major and minor maintenance shutdowns or overhauls.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into sustainable improvement plans.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Production and support functions.
• Understand the difference between reliability and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Developing long-term asset care strategies including major overhauls and lifecycle planning.
• Leading reliability improvement activities using condition-based maintenance and RCA.
• Using data and OEM expertise to identify recurring failures and implement fixes.
• Managing budgets for maintenance and repair within your area.
• Leading RCA investigations and ensuring sustainable corrective actions.
• Supporting capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching technicians to build capability and drive performance.
• Managing spare parts and inventory safely and efficiently.
• Partnering with Production to analyze loss and improve line efficiency.
• Championing Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
