Job summary

DCK Group in Brighton is seeking a part-time Christmas Retail Associate for 25 hours per week. You will support in-store merchandising, handle deliveries, and help maintain store standards during the peak Christmas period.

You’ll be paid £12.71 per hour, with mileage and parking expenses paid and a pension/Life cover package. Availability across multiple stores and quick onboarding are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting preferred.
• Retail or fashion brand experience is a plus.
• Access to an Apple or Android smartphone with up-to-date OS

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Handle stock deliveries and stockroom housekeeping.
• Set up and run promotional activities at the store.
• Collaborate with host management teams to build relationships and identify sales opportunities.

Job description

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Brighton - 25 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 5 Monday. 5 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, 5 Thursday, 5 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Brighton butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
