Job summary

DCK Group in Birmingham is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate for 30 hours per week to cover the peak Christmas period. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with shifts Tue–Sat and a 9:00am start. The role is temporary until 26 December 2026, based in Birmingham with potential store-wide travel within your zone.

You will work under a Team Leader, with coaching and support, and being technology-savvy is advantageous as we use several apps to streamline tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines.
• Putting out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Setting up promotional activities.
• Working with host management teams to build relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Birmingham - 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern - 6 Tuesday, 6 Wednesday, 6 Thursday, 6 Friday, 6 Saturday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Birmingham butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:
