Job summary

DCK Group in Gateshead Metro Centre is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate to work 35 hours weekly during the peak festive period. You will join a team focused on delivering excellent customer service and handling in-store tasks.

The role runs through 26 December 2026. A friendly, professional attitude and reliability are essential, with duties including merchandising, stock deliveries, housekeeping, and promotional setup.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Gateshead Metro Centre - 35 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 7, Monday, 7 Tuesday, 7 Wednesday, 7 Thursday, 7 Friday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

You will be based in Gateshead Metro Centre butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.
