Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a Customer Assistant in Operations to support stock, deliveries and the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps our shop floor full, clean and ready for customers. This role is physically demanding and fast-paced, with a need for flexibility across the wider store and capability to use digital tools to track deliveries.

You’ll be a strong team player, working across functions to keep the store running smoothly and ensuring availability and speed in daily

• You’ll be responsible for stock, deliveries, and the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps the shop floor full and neat.
• You’ll adapt to early deliveries and late stock movements to keep things moving.
• You’ll support colleagues across the store to maintain availability and speed.

Work Pattern

Monday 12:00 - 20:00
Tuesday 12:00 - 20:00
Friday 15:00 - 23:00
Saturday 15:00 - 23:00

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December

You’ll be responsible for stock, deliveries, and all the vital behind-the-scenes work that ensures our shop floor stays full, clean, and ready for our customers to shop. There’s no room for delay. You’ll be fast, focused, and always one step ahead, keeping the flow of products moving with urgency and accuracy.

• Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you’ll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
