Marks & Spencer in Stevenage is seeking a Customer Assistant in Operations for night shifts (Sun/Wed/Thu/Sat 21:00–05:00). You’ll be the backstage powerhouse, handling stock, deliveries and behind-the-scenes work to keep the shop floor full and running smoothly.

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role requiring flexibility to cover up to full-time hours in December. Applicants must be 18+ due to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Night shifts and weekend work are required.
• Ability to manage stock and deliveries efficiently.
• Fluent with digital tools to track deliveries and stock.

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.

This job role involves working through the nights and this means we can't consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant health and safety legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.
Please note that the + £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00

You’ll be responsible for stock, deliveries, and all the vital behind-the-scenes work that ensures our shop floor stays full, clean, and ready for our customers to shop. There's no room for delay. You'll be fast, focused, and always one step ahead, keeping the flow of products moving with urgency and accuracy.
