WR Engineering in the North West is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service and maintain CHP and gas-engine systems across a regional North West territory.

The role offers up to £45,000 with paid overtime, bonus, a company van and door-to-door travel pay, reflecting strong earning potential and opportunities for long-term development within a growing power-generation business.

Qualifications

• Power-generation, CHP or gas-engine service experience.
• Experience with Jenbacher, Caterpillar/MWM or MTU equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be based in North West England.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair CHP and gas-engine systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults
• Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and engine overhauls
• Maintain equipment availability, performance and safety
• Produce accurate service reports and communicate with customers
