Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join our Heathrow-based team. You will service, maintain and repair commercial and industrial chillers from manufacturers such as York, Trane and Carrier, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency across critical environments.

The role is site-based with some travel to other locations. You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, diagnose faults, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, document service activities,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 3 desirable).
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Experience servicing and maintaining air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Strong fault-finding skills across refrigeration, electrical and controls systems.
• Experience with York, Trane, Carrier.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Electrical, refrigeration and controls troubleshooting.
• Identification of equipment improvements and upgrades.
• Completion of service documentation.
• Compliance with all health and safety procedures.
• You may also support associated HVAC equipment, including AHUs, ventilation and cooling systems.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of chiller systems across Heathrow Airport. The role is primarily site-based, with occasional travel to other customer locations when required.

What We Are Looking For

Essential
