Job summary

Bailey & Bowes Ltd. in London is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to maintain and repair commercial/industrial chillers, across air- and water-cooled systems. The role offers planned workload with up to £55,000 base salary plus £5,000 annual bonus, and a generous benefits package.

Expect 40 hours on site, paid travel time, private-use company van, PDA with Joblogic, and paid holiday homes after one year. A strong focus on planning and independent problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on commercial or industrial chiller systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning principles.
• Ability to organise your own workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• F-Gas Certification – essential.
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Electrical qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial chillers.
• Working on air-cooled and water-cooled systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance.
• Completing service reports and job documentation accurately.
• Liaising with the office team regarding job progress and parts.
