Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Chiller / Refrigeration engineer for UK-based opportunities. The role involves servicing and maintaining water chillers, processed chillers and air conditioning units across commercial buildings, hospitals, and light industrial sites.

You will diagnose faults and liaise with schedulers, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely updates. The ideal candidate holds F/Gas and C&G electrical qualifications, with strong customer-facing skills and field engineer experience.

Qualifications

• F/Gas certification is required.
• C&G electrical qualifications/experience is required.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills expected.
• Must have a full driving licence.
• Strong customer facing skills.
• Field engineer experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on chillers, water chillers, processed chillers and air conditioning units.
• Communicate on a regular basis with Schedulers providing updates on works or tasks.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with company and customer staff.
• Ensure all paperwork / documentation and tablet job information is completed correctly and promptly.
• Diagnose equipment faults accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify required parts to enable the Purchasing team to order in a timely fashion.

Do you have good knowledge of water chillers, process cooled chillers or air-cooled chillers and looking to take your next steps within your career? Or, are you interested in becoming a specialist chiller engineer?

This is a great opportunity to work within commercial buildings, Hospitals, food and beverage and other light industrial environments.

On offer is the chance to be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and reactive work on a variety of different types of chillers and air conditioning units.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Service and maintenance on chillers, water chillers, processed chillers and air conditioning units
