Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting an experienced Chiller Engineer for a field-based role in the South East. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair commercial and industrial chiller systems at customer sites.

The package includes a basic salary of £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience, overtime, door-to-door pay, a company van with personal use, mobile phone and laptop, with permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chiller/HVAC engineer or similar field service role.
• Strong fault-finding on commercial/industrial chillers and systems.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently at sites.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial and industrial chillers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Commission and start up HVAC and chiller equipment where required.
• Use technical drawings, specifications and diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Attend customer sites and take ownership of works through to completion.
• Complete service reports and associated technical documentation.
• Identify additional remedial works and equipment requirements.
• Liaise professionally with customers and internal service teams.
• Work safely and in accordance with company and industry procedures.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established organisation within the commercial HVAC and cooling industry.

This is a field-based position carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Chiller Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Service Engineer.
• Strong experience servicing and fault finding on commercial/industrial chillers.
• Good understanding of refrigeration systems, controls and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
• F-Gas qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
