Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established UK cooling and HVAC business, covering commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and data centre environments.

You will service, maintain and repair chillers and refrigeration systems, fault-find, and work on chilled water systems including VRF/VRV. The role involves lone-site work on customer sites with clear reporting and knowledge sharing with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' refrigeration/chiller experience.
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration or Engineering.
• Strong fault-finding on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• F-Gas certified.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions.
• Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment.
• Carry out electrical, controls, refrigerant and mechanical works.
• Attend customer sites and manage jobs independently.
• Complete clear service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to other engineers when required.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ refrigeration/chiller experience
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering
• Strong chiller and refrigeration fault-finding experience
• F-Gas certified
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable
• Additional specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous
