Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Refrigeration/Chiller Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This field-based role covers service and maintenance across commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, emphasising reliability and strong customer relationships.

The role includes maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair on chillers, process cooling, blast freezers and cold rooms. F-Gas qualifications and a UK driving licence are essential; Level 3 is desirable.

Qualifications

• F-Gas qualification required; Level 3 or above desirable.
• Proven experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Confident with chillers and HFC/HFO refrigerants.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform repairs promptly.
• Work on chillers, process cooling, blast freezers and cold rooms.

The Role

• Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of refrigeration systems
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
• Work across complex systems including chillers, process cooling, blast freezers, and cold rooms

What We’re Looking For

• F-Gas qualified with NVQ Level 2 (Level 3 or above desirable)
• Strong experience working on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems
• Confident working with chillers and HFC/HFO refrigerants
• Full UK driving licence
