Job summary

INDGLO is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to cover Bristol and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair chillers and refrigeration systems across diverse environments, diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions.

With 6+ years of refrigeration/chiller experience and a Level 3 qualification, you will work independently on customer sites, handling electrical, controls and HVAC works, while producing clear reports and providing technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of refrigeration/chiller experience required.
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration or Engineering.
• F-Gas certification is essential.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is desirable.
• Experience with ammonia, CO2, Turbocor or controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions.
• Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment.

Location: Bristol / Field Based

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package

We're looking for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join a well-established UK cooling and HVAC business, working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and data centre environments.

The Role

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions
• Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment
• Carry out electrical, controls, refrigerant and mechanical works
• Attend customer sites and manage jobs independently
• Complete clear service reports and documentation
• Provide technical support to other engineers when required

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years' refrigeration/chiller experience
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering
• Strong chiller and refrigeration fault-finding experience
• F-Gas certified
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable
• Additional specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous
