Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced Chiller Engineer to cover a range of environments across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and data centres in the UK.

You will service, maintain and repair chillers and refrigeration systems, diagnose faults, and work on chilled water systems and related HVAC equipment on customer sites. The role requires independence, precise reporting, and collaboration with other engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years refrigeration/chiller experience.
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering.
• F-Gas certification.
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites.
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable.
• Specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns on chillers and refrigeration systems.

• Work on chilled water systems, splits, VRF/VRV and associated HVAC equipment.
• Carry out electrical, controls, refrigerant and mechanical works.
• Attend customer sites and manage jobs independently.
• Complete clear service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support to other engineers when required.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ refrigeration/chiller experience
• Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration / Engineering
• Strong chiller and refrigeration fault-finding experience
• F-Gas certified
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Experience with centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers is highly desirable
• Additional specialist experience such as Ammonia, CO₂, Turbocor or controls would be advantageous
