Job summary

Pertemps Liverpool is recruiting for a Warehouse Order Picker at a chilled distribution centre in Haydock. You will pick customer orders with handheld scanners, pack goods, and prepare stock for dispatch in a temperature-controlled environment.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00, start date is immediate. DBS and drug and alcohol screening are required; training can be provided for those without full experience, and the role is an ongoing temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• DBS check and drug & alcohol screening are required.
• Training may be provided for those new to the role.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Pack goods and prepare stock for dispatch.
• Move products with pallet trucks in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Load and unload as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Work collaboratively to meet daily productivity targets.
