Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is seeking Warehouse Operatives at the Haydock site. Roles are available for days or nights, with immediate start and temp contracts. You will select and prepare products for shipment and operate in chilled or freezer environments with appropriate PPE.

You will pack and pick items using hand scanners, load vehicles, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily targets in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude.
• Willingness to work in chilled or freezer areas.
• Understanding of Health & Safety standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Working in chilled or freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided).
• Packing products to the clients specifications.
• Picking products using hand scanners.
• Loading vehicles for delivery.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets.
