Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd in Evesham is seeking a Production Line Leader for a permanent role in a chilled food production facility. You will oversee a team of Production Operatives, including agency staff, ensuring safe and efficient line operation and high standards of quality.

The role requires supervising daily output, coordinating line setup, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a clean and safe production area. Shift: 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Production, Manufacturing or Team Leader/Supervisory role is desirable.
• Experience in food production, particularly chilled environments, is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to delegate, motivate and brief a diverse team.
• Reliable, organised and self-motivated.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate tasks to team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Set up the production line and ensure smooth job completion with minimal disruption.
• Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Order raw materials and packaging to maintain stock levels.
• Ensure correct packaging and minimise packaging waste.
• Complete production and job sheets in a timely manner.
• Maintain performance boards and record discrepancies.
• Uphold quality standards and service level expectations.
• Reduce waste in line with company objectives.
• Conduct Health & Safety checks and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to PPE and cleanliness standards.
