An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Wisbech-based children’s homes for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals who desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our children and young people by leading by example for support workers.

We offer a basic salary of £29,000 to £[amount], plus sleep-in payments (based on 8-10 sleep-ins per month),
hours of paid annual leave per year,
and a rota system with a monthly schedule. This role involves working on a rota, including long hours and sleep-ins, which are essential. The shifts vary depending on the home location.

Job role

1. Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
2. Planning team rotas and supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments
3. Assisting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing the Statement of Purpose
4. Carrying out other tasks as directed by management
5. Supervising in the absence of the Registered or Deputy Manager
6. Welcoming a diverse culture within the home
7. Creating a safe, family-like environment for the children

Requirements

• You must be 21 or older due to Ofsted regulations
• Driving is essential due to the locations of the homes
• At least six months’ experience in Children’s residential care
• Holding a relevant Level 3 qualification
