An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of our children’s homes for Residential Team Leaders!

We are looking for caring and compassionate Team Leaders who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people by leading support workers and setting an example.

• Salary: £14.17 - £14.99 per hour (£29,473.60 - £31,179.20 per annum)
• Sleep-in shifts: £30 per shift (additional approx. £3,120 per year for 2 sleep-ins per week)
• Annual leave: 224 hours of paid leave per year
• Schedule: Rotas provided 4 weeks in advance; shifts include long hours and sleep-ins; working 365 days including holidays

Responsibilities:

• Meet the needs of children and young people per Ofsted regulations
• Plan team rotas and support the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments
• Assist in implementing the Statement of Purpose
• Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager
• Foster a welcoming, diverse, and safe environment for children

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older (per Ofsted regulations)
• Driving preferred but not essential, depending on home location
• Enrolled in a workplace pension scheme after three months
• Opportunities for progression: Support Worker → Team Leader → Deputy Manager
• Fully paid 10-day induction course
• Enhanced DBS check paid for by Cambian Group
