Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Bedfordshire Council, Childrens Family Support Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Childrens Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable children under the close supervision of a supportive Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Supervision of 5 members of staff on CIN, CP and PLO cases
2. Likely to be occasions where court attendance is required to support staff in the team
3. Report writing
4. Home Visits
5. Liaise with other professionals
6. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
7. 2 Month Temporary Contract
8. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
