An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of our children’s homes for Residential Team Leaders!

We are looking for caring and compassionate Team Leaders who want to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people by leading support workers through example.

• Basic salary of £14.17 - £14.99 per hour (£29,473.60 - £31,179.20 per year)
• £30 per sleep-in shift (additional £3,120 per year with 2 sleep-ins per week)
• 224 hours of paid annual leave
• Working on a rota basis with a monthly schedule provided 4 weeks in advance
• This is a 365-day role, including holidays and special occasions, with celebrations with children!
• Long hours and sleep-ins are part of the shift pattern, varying by home location

Job responsibilities

• Meeting the needs of children and young people per Ofsted regulations
• Planning team rotas and supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments
• Assisting in implementing the Statement of Purpose alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
• Carrying out tasks as directed by management
• Supervising in the absence of managers
• Welcoming diverse cultures into the home
• Creating a safe, family-like environment for children

Requirements

• You must be 21 or older due to Ofsted regulations
• Driving is preferred but not essential, depending on home locations
• Refer a Friend scheme available
• Enrolled in a pension scheme after three months of employment
• Opportunities for progression: Support Worker → Team Leader → Deputy Manager
• Fully paid 10-day induction course
• Enhanced DBS check paid for by Cambian Group
