A leading company is seeking a Childrens Social Worker for a Long Term Temporary post in Ellesmere Port. The role supports young people in developing independent living skills and involves working closely with families and partner agencies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience and a strong background in assessment and pathway planning. The position offers excellent supervision and a supportive working environment.

We are recruiting social workers to join our Leaving Care Team (Supporting Independence Team) within our permanency hub, working with looked after children across Cheshire West and Chester. The role involves working with young people aged 15 to 25, supporting them through care planning and pathway planning to develop independent living skills. Experience with assessment and pathway planning for looked after children, teenagers, and young adults is required. Knowledge of Dols and unaccompanied asylum seeking children is advantageous but not essential.
Candidates should be at least 2 years post-qualified with proven performance in quality case work and the ability to work openly and honestly with children, families, and partner agencies.
