A leading company is seeking an experienced Locum Legal Assistant (Childcare) for a 3-month remote position with a South West Local Authority. The role involves providing legal advice, researching legislation, and preparing court documents. Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths and be working towards a legal qualification. Strong interpersonal and ICT skills are essential.
Locum Legal Assistant (Childcare) – South West Local Authority – 3 months + - Remote Working - £17.50 Umbrella
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant (Childcare) to join a South West Local Authority on an interim basis.
This is a full-time position, offered for an initial term of 3 months. Fully remote working is available.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
The successful candidate will have achieved a good standard of general education, with GCSE grades A to C (or equivalent) in English and Maths. The postholder will also have obtained or be working towards the Institute of Legal Executives Diploma Level 3 or similar qualification. Good interpersonal skills are essential as are ICT skills with usual Microsoft Office packages and the ability to be administratively self-sufficient. A standard DBS is required for this role.
An hourly umbrella rate of £17.50 is offered for this position.
