Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join a supportive team handling a mixed caseload in Northumberland. You will use the Signs of Safety model to safeguard children and work with families in the community, with opportunities for flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

You will carry a mixed caseload of children in a variety of circumstances (CP/PLO court proceedings/Cared For) and provide direct social work intervention to (children, young people and their families) in the community. We are looking for social workers with a passion for safeguarding children
