About us:

We are Cambian Group, the largest independent provider of care and education for children and young people. We believe everyone has a personal best. Those we care for and those who care for them. You will be part of a close, supportive team focused on achieving the best outcomes for everyone.

About the role:

The working day can be unpredictable, involving duties such as organizing activities and attending parental appointments. We seek flexible, reliable, and adaptable individuals who can read situations to help our young people make positive choices.

  • Meeting the needs of Children and Young People in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Organizing and facilitating social activities such as days out, community work, and occasional holidays
  • Assisting with daily tasks like laundry, housekeeping, shopping, and meal prep, including fun activities like baking
  • Participating in team meetings to share ideas and best practices
  • Working closely with our clinical team and local authorities

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:

Experience with children or in health and social care is beneficial but not essential; full training and support will be provided.

A full UK driving license is ideally required due to the location and nature of the work or progress towards one.

What we offer:

  • £30 per sleep-in (2-3 sleep-ins per week)
  • Overtime at an enhanced rate
  • Annual leave entitlement
  • Career development opportunities and qualifications
  • Full DBS paid for by Cambian Group
  • 10-day paid intensive induction training, including online and face-to-face learning
  • Paid shadowing shifts with experienced staff
  • Opportunity to enroll in NVQ Children and Young People's Workforce qualification, fully funded, worth over £6k
  • Free onsite parking and meals during shifts
