The Esland Group Ltd in Shifnal is seeking a Children’s Residential Care Worker to support up to 4 young people in a nurturing, therapeutic home. You will help with daily routines, activities and education plans, while promoting wellbeing and safeguarding in a 365-day service.

This permanent, full-time role offers a structured shift pattern, sleep-ins, and opportunities for progression and funded qualifications. A current UK driving licence is required.

Childrens Residential Care Worker

Compensation: £32,242 - £32,865 / year

Description

Salary: £32,242.00 to £32,865.00 per annum. (including 6 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour depending on qualification).Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Essential requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker:

• A full driving licence issued in the UK
• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
• Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential

Our beautiful home near Shifnal offers a nurturing and therapeutic environment for up to 4 young people. Our team supports them with all of their domestic needs and socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together.
