Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay rate: £34,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience and diploma level)

Esland is committed to changing children’s lives for the better by providing specialist services. We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our Assessments Team.

Our Buxton home offers short-term therapeutic intervention and trauma support for ages 7 to 18. Our assessment homes provide young people with security, support, and stabilization in a nurturing environment over 12 weeks. Every placement includes access to education and outdoor activities.

This role is ideal for an experienced deputy manager eager to grow with a supportive company, or a senior support worker ready to take the next step.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home within the last 5 years
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role managing care staff
• Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations, legislation, and Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK without restrictions
• Must be over 21 years old due to industry regulations
• Interest in outdoor activities is essential; relevant experience or qualifications are desirable
