Job summary

Interserve Healthcare is seeking carers to support a young girl in the Newark area with overnight care. You will follow a detailed care plan and work to help the child reach her full potential in a compassionate, consistent manner.

You will be part of a dedicated team, receive full supervision, and access ongoing training. A registered nurse will assist with clinical questions and ensure competency in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with ventilators and chest physio plans.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
• Driver's license required due to location.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a special care team delivering overnight care to our client who is a delightful child to help her reach her full potential.
• Deliver overnight care in line with the care plan and respond to clinical needs.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings; a registered nurse will support with clinical concerns.

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support her to reach her full potential.

We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young girl in the Newark area, we are looking for someone to be consistent, flexible and compassionate.

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

• PEG feeding
• Suctioning
• Ventilation Support
• Chest Physio
• Specialist Moving & Handling

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Nottingham branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Experience in the following would make your application more advantageous:

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with ventilators and chest physio plans.
• Moving & Handling Equipment
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
