Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is recruiting for an overnight carer to support a young client in the Newark area. You will follow the client’s care plan with a nurse supervisor, delivering PEG feeding, ventilation support and chest physiotherapy as needed.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, with a compassionate, flexible approach and strong teamwork to ensure continuity of high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Overnight care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain patient safety.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care to the client according to the care plan.
• Perform PEG feeding and suctioning as prescribed.
• Support ventilation needs and chest physiotherapy as directed.
• Assist with moving and handling and equipment in daily tasks.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings with nurse support.

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support her to reach her full potential.

We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young girl in the Newark area, we are looking for someone to be consistent, flexible and compassionate.

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

• PEG feeding
• Ventilation Support
• Chest Physio
• Specialist Moving & Handling

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Nottingham branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.
