Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a permanent Wellbeing Practitioner for Children and Young People to join the School Health team in Bute and Cowal, Argyll and Bute. You will deliver high quality specialist support to children, young people, parents and professionals.

Work in a remote rural area with MDT collaboration, opportunities for supervision, and travel between local locations. Applicants should have strong communication, knowledge of GIRFEC, GDPR, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and experience dealing with sensitive issues.
• Knowledge of GIRFEC and Child Protection processes.
• Awareness of GDPR and its application in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, person-centred care for children and young people.
• Support the multidisciplinary team and collaborate with health, education, and social work colleagues.
• Travel between Argyll and Bute work locations as required.
• Provide flexible, high-quality specialist support to children, young people, and families.
