Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Wellbeing Practitioner for Children and Young People in the School Health team serving Bute and Cowal, Argyll and Bute. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective, person-centred care while collaborating with Health, Education, Social Work and other colleagues across a rural, remote area.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of GIRFEC, Child Protection, and Care Experienced processes.
• Good understanding of GDPR and its clinical implications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to Children and Young People.
• Provide flexible, specialist support to children, young people, parents and professionals.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team across School Health services.
