Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a committed Therapeutic Support Worker in Barnstaple to help children and young people feel safe, supported and empowered to reach their potential. This is a hands-on, full-time permanent role that focuses on building trusting relationships and supporting daily routines, education and activities.

You will promote emotional wellbeing, work with families and professionals, and safeguard young people at all times.

• Caring, patient and resilient individuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in social care is ideal but other backgrounds are welcome; training provided.

Children Support Worker - Full Training Provided

Location: Barnstaple

Salary: up to £31k p.a (inclusive of sleeps)

Hours: Full Time Permanent

What We're Looking For

• Caring, patient, and resilient individuals
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience of working in Social Care ideal but other backgrounds are welcome
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in care or relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3) desirable but full training provided
